Huma-I-Fi is a simple, rational and modern ideology, which has its roots in the society.
1.       Introduction:
It states that there is a presence of only one God or Supreme Energy, from which everything in the universe gets created and from whom everything originates. This energy is ever-changing into different forms, types, shapes and sizes. We all are fractions of this energy. Thus the Supreme Energy is the whole and we all are a part.

2.     Basic beliefs:
  • There is always a balance which is maintained in the universe and if this balance is disturbed, whether      positively or negatively, it is automatically restored. The restoration, however, can be in any form. Hence, the actions of all, i.e. living and non living beings have an impact not only on themselves but on the entire universe. Hence, it is the responsibility of all human beings to execute their actions only after considering its impact on their environment.
  • As all the things are a part of this universe, all human beings have a duty to respect, be kind, and just not only to fellow humans but to all the living and non living beings.
  •  Change is an integral aspect of universe and it needs to be accepted by everyone. However, it is the duty of every one of us to control the negative changes and bring about positive changes which may be beneficial to all.
  • Every person is free to choose whether he/she wants to believe or not in the Supreme Energy. If they do believe, they are free to choose ‘The Way’ they want to connect to it. However, it is necessary that a person should be absolutely clear and firm in his beliefs without resorting to hypocrisy or to be hurtful to the society or be opposed to morals and laws of the land wherein they reside.
  • The people of different beliefs have a right to preach those beliefs to others. They have no right to enforce their beliefs on others or to criticize the beliefs of others.
  • There should be a motive to do an act of service towards the society in a way that it benefits everyone.
  • Meditation and fasting should be resorted to by a person as and when possible to cleanse the mind and body and to bring about mental peace and rest. However, fasting can be done on an empty stomach. It can also be done by having milk, fruits and dry fruits.
  • Logical reasoning and questioning should be encouraged. No person should be followed blindly. A person must make careful and thoughtful decisions and choices in the matter of personal faith and religion. Thoughts or philosophies of any person, religious leaders, saints and such others can be followed but they should in no case be elevated to the level of God or the ultimate Supreme Energy or be blindly followed as we are humans and only fractions of that greater energy.
  • Like all other things, even religion, beliefs and ideologies are subject to change from time to time through a democratic process for the betterment of all. However, the core characteristics should remain constant.

3.       Praying:
  • Praying is a process of connecting with the Supreme Energy. This attracts positive energy towards a person.
  • Praying is a personal choice. A person who prays, benefits; since it attracts positive energy towards that person. This positive energy is helpful for healing, boosting one’s confidence, removing hurdles in one’s goals and an overall positive attitude towards life.
  • There is no fixed method of praying. Praying altogether is also not necessary. Mere acknowledgement or consciousness of the presence of the Supreme energy is sufficient.
  • There should be a realization to every action committed by any person in full consciousness with a clear conscience.

4.       Marriage:
  • It is a union between two human beings who intend to live together.
  • It is necessary that both the partners must know each other well and choose each other without any kind of pressure, force, coercion or false representation.
  • Parental guidance and advice should be taken. However, consent of the parents is not compulsory, if both the bride and the groom have attained majority as per the laws of the land.
  • Any rites or ceremonies are not necessary. The bride and the groom must be well aware of their actions and their partner’s true intentions and ensure a long time commitment towards their marriage. This can be in oral or written and in any form. However, the words must be clear enough to declare the above publicly.
  • Legal formalities of the place of residence of the married couple have to be complied with.
  • Divorce should be avoided. Extreme cases are an exception.
  • Marrying altogether is not compulsory. A person can choose to remain unmarried throughout his/her life time.

5.       Sex:
  • Sex is a matter of personal choice. It is neither a sin nor a taboo. However, it comes with a responsibility that it should be consensual and the necessary precautions must be taken. There should be awareness in the form of sex education in order to avoid STDs and unwanted pregnancies.
  • Abortion should be avoided but can be resorted to for medical reasons. Keeping population under control and improving quality of life can also be the other reasons.
  • Homosexuality is a personal choice and there is no restriction regarding it, provided it is consensual.
  • Sexual activity should be resorted to only after maturity of both the partners. This enables both the partners to take a proper and matured decision and the necessary precautions.

6.       Reproduction:
  • It is not compulsory to reproduce.
  • If possible, only 1 couple - 1 child policy should be adopted while planning a family. This is in order to improve the quality of life of children and the population can also be kept in control.
  • The children should be given the best of love, care, values and education that the parents can afford.
  • It is the duty of the parents to help their children identify his/her interests, talents, qualities and develop them. They should never impose their personal ambitions and beliefs on their children.
  • Children should also be given an option to choose his/her own line of faith and religion on attaining majority as per the laws of the land in which they reside.

7.       Contribution towards the Society:
  • A person gains knowledge or wealth or wellbeing from the society.
  • After a person retires from work and completes his/her general duties towards his/her family, he/she should try to give something back to the society in whichever way possible, either through wealth or knowledge or time and efforts for charitable purposes.
  • This helps social development and provides peace and satisfaction to that person.

8.       Death:
  • Death is a phenomenon where the soul leaves the body of a living being.
  • On death, the relatives and friends of the deceased person must gather to pay their respects to the deceased.
  • The body of the deceased should be cremated electrically, if possible. This saves space, time and efforts. It also destroys all the germs that might be inside the dead body which prevents them from re-entering the environment.

9.       After life:
  • A soul is nothing but a unique form of a fraction of the Supreme energy, which is present only in living beings.
  • Once a person dies, the soul leaves the body and enters another body. Thus, a person looses his/her consciousness forever on death.
  • The actions of any person have a permanent effect on the universe. They affect the person and others during his/her lifetime.
  • After death, these same actions may not affect that person, now dead. However, it affects the soul of the person when it re-enters another body and that new body gets affected by the outcome of the actions thus done during his past life which continue and get carried on in the present life.
  • Every action, thus committed, by every person has an effect on the universe and gets stored in any form which is returned in the same or any other form in the present or next life. The person is bound to repay or get paid for his actions in some way.
10.     Food:
  • Food should never be wasted.
  • Food should be prepared in sufficient quantities but not in excess. Leftover food should be fed to needy and hungry individuals or creatures. Throwing it away should be strictly avoided.
  • A person should have vegetarian food as far as possible. This is because, it is good for health and also prevents animal slaughter.

11.     Environment:
  • It is important to adopt and practice sustainable development.
  • Every house must have at least one pot with any kind of plant and every person must also plant at least one sapling each year.
  • Natural resources must be used carefully and must be conserved.
  • 3 R’s policy, i.e. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, must be adopted by every person.
  • Every person must take necessary steps to protect the environment.

12.     Employment:
  • It is very important for a person to choose a job in which his/her interests lie and in which his/her skills will be utilized in the best possible way. This will ensure that the person is happy and satisfied.
  • For those who are self employed, it is necessary to take measures to ensure the wellbeing of their employees, clients, environment and adherence to the rules of the government and society in general.
  • For those who are in the service sector, it is important to ensure that they progress through their own abilities and knowledge in their respective fields. They should not resort to any such act which will affect the interests of their employees, their colleagues, their employers, clients, connected organizations, environment, government and society adversely.
  • A person should not resort to substance abuse in order to fight stress or pain of any kind, especially work related stress.
  • A person should regularly take some time out of work in order to spend time with oneself, family, friends and all their loved ones. They can take up other activities like yoga, meditation, going for short trips and such other activities. This will ensure that the person remains stress free and also, mentally and physically fit. This in turn improves his/her efficiency at work.
  • A person should try to strike a balance between his/her family and job.
